Chapter 41 - Part VI(Specialized Chapter) Featuring: Li Quan and Xiao Man ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'Are you cantlivewithoutdrums?' Cantlivewithoutdrums...cantlivewithoutdrums...Isn't that Li Quan's Messenger Name? This must be her! Wei Yu stood up to pull out the chair opposite of his for the girl. After all, it was basic courtesy of him to do that. 'You must be my date, have a seat...' Wei Yu said politely, trying not to give her a bad first impression of him. He wouldn't want to ruin his good buddy's chance of confessing to his online friend. 'Thank You very much.....Wei Yu.' The voice said sweetly. 'No prob...' Wait a minute, why does she know my name? Who is she? Wei Yu looked up, to his amazement, Xiao Man was standing right next to him. She had tied up her usual short hair, wearing a pair of skinnys with a long tee. She looked better than usual, most probably because she did not bother to wear make-up at home. 'Hi Wei Yu.' '...' ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'Xiao Man? Wang Shu Xuan?' Wei Yu exclaimed. 'Mmmmhmmm...' Xiao Man hummed softly, just enough for Wei Yu to hear her. 'You are...you are...' 'Yes, I am zumba.' 'How, how can it be?' Stuttered Wei Yu. 'I didn't know you could play drums too.' said Xiao Man unexpectedly, trying to change the topic. Xiao Man twitched her eyebrow. It was pretty weird meeting someone whom you live with everyday, not knowing that he is your online friend. 'I......I.....' Wei Yu did not know what to say. He had liked Xiao Man since high school, back then when they were just classmates. Even though he might seem to be a casanova among girls, he only cared about her, her only. At first, he could not believe is ears when Andy Ge paired him up with her to perform for the Lunar New Year show, which combined the didis and meimeis from the two popular shows respectively. He could not forget the time when he looked over at her while she was dancing. Holy, she looked free and happy, personified in her limbs was rhythm, melody, beats and sound. She was the music... 'Hey, hey!' Xiao Man called out to Wei Yu, snapping her fingers in front of his dazzy eyes. Apparantly, Wei Yu had been too immersed in his thoughts that he had forgotten all about the girl sitting right in front of him. How embarassing it must have been, to space out in front of girl... 'I...I'm sorry.' Wei Yu said, sounding apologetic. 'What were you thinking about?' 'Nothing much...' 'Was it about me?' 'No...n..' Before he could say anything, Xiao Man suddenly stood up from her seat. He looked at her surprisingly, wondering what he had done. 'If...if you were disappointed to know that all these while it had been me, then I'm sorry. I think I should leave...' Upon saying that, she took one last glance at Wei Yu, before proceeding to the restaurant door. As soon as he realised what she was saying, Wei Yu too, got up from his seat to chase after her. He ran out of the restaurant, and looked around for her. She was walking quite a distance away from the restaurant, quickly. Wei Yu ran after her. As he reached her, he suddenly grabbed her shoulders firmly and spun her around. Before Xiao Man had the intuition to react, she was already buried in Wei Yu's muscular arms. 'Hey...pfft.' She cried, but unfortunately her cry was blocked by Wei Yu's body. 'Don't move, stay like this for a second please?' He pleaded. '...' ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey! Sorry, I know that this is a short chapter. Sorry for taking such a long time to update, I've been spamming outings these few days. Well, this special chapter would probably take another 3-5 more posts, so apologies for not writing about guiwang (especially when they're like the main characters of this fanfiction).
