Chapter 41 P3
Chapter 41 - Part III(Specialized chapter) Featuring: Li Quan & Xiao Man ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Li Quan's POV (Point of view) 'Hey there!' I cried, walking out through the big glass sliding door of my music room. Wei Yu was waiting for me outside. He waved at me, while I walked towards him with a fast pace. 'Waited long?' I teased him. 'Of course. What took you so long?' 'Sorry, my teacher wanted to show me some of his cool moves. He said he invented them, so I couldn't resist...' 'I see, you cant live without drums do you?' He asked randomly. 'I guess so...' I replied without any doubts. Wei Yu and I had planned to go to the new restaurant opposite the company street after my lesson, and of course, his piano lesson. As we walked out of the company's doors, laughing about, I suddenly remembered something. 'Oh shit!' I cried. 'What is it?' 'I left my music file in the studio!' 'Then go get it!' 'Wait for me okay?' 'Sure, and be quick.' Running as fast as my legs could carry me, I reached the studio within minutes. As I walked along the corridor leading to the studio, I suddenly heard sounds of drums being played. 'Hmm, who could it be?' I thought. I opened the door slightly, trying not to disturb the person playing the drums. Taking a peek, I saw a girl with short hair in it. She was back-facing me, playing the drums enthusiastically. Her hair was black but was slightly brown. She looked really familiar but I could not make out who it was. While I was immersed in my own thoughts, suddenly a voice said, 'Hello.' Snapping out of my thoughts at once, I immediately looked down embarassingly and replied, 'Erm, sorry. Im here to take my file.' 'Sure, go on.' She replied. 'Thanks.' Hurrying up to walk beside her to get my file from the table, she suddenly grabbed hold of my hand. 'Ah. I have got to go...' I said shyly. She pauses, then takes a breath. 'Li Quan.' How did she know my name? Was she a goddess? 'Why are you blushing? It's not like the first time you've ever talked to me?' She responded, making me feel a little nervous. 'Hey, if you are not going to look up, Im going to punch you soon!' She declared. I looked up, not wanting her to punch me. As my gaze fell upon the girl in front of me, I gave a big cry of laughter. It was Xiao Man. What was she doing here? She? Playing drums? 'It's you!' I cried. 'Of course, then?' 'You play the drums? How come I've never seen you before?' 'I was initially attending another class near our old house, but since we've moved here...' 'Oh, no wonder.' 'Why were you blushing just now?' She asked. 'Er.....er....' I stuttered. I couldn't possibly told her that I thought she was someone else did I? Gosh, it would be so embarassing if I ever told her. A carefree grin then crossed her lips. I meet her gaze, then looked away. My heart started to beat faster. She was really pretty, how could I have not noticed it before? No no no...No Li Quan, you like lovey now, you can change your target. 'Erm, when are you going? I need to practise.' She smiled at me. 'Oh sorry, I'll get going now then since you reminded me.' 'Bye Li Quan.' 'Bye, see you later!' I shouted, as I ran out of the studio with my file. 'Later!' I heard her replying me, while starting to practise. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'So she plays the drum?' Wei Yu asked, while we were waiting for the food to be served. I was sipping my coke, responding to every question Wei Yu asked about Xiao Man. I have never ever seen him that desperate before, not even when he was trying to woo a pretty girl. Annoyed at him, I finally replied him. 'Stop it would you? It's annoying!' I snapped at him. 'Oh okay...' He replied, disappointed that I did not reply his question. 'Oh alright, she does.' 'Since when?' 'How would I know? Why dont you ask her yourself? I replied coldly. 'I dont dare to...' What does he mean by he doesn't dare to? Surely, he would have the confidence to do it to any girl, but why not to Xiao Man? Dont tell me... 'Do you like her?' I asked, unsure of what the consequences of this question would be. Wei Yu stumped at this question for a while. This time, I totally regretted asking him this question out of the blue, especially when his reaction would be so big. 'Yes. She was my first love.' He replied, minutes later. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated! Today's holiday, so I managed to chiong one chapter out!
